As we kick off our 15th year of Karaoke Underground, we have a small problem that we don’t talk about much. Sometimes, as much as we hate to admit it, we make videos for songs and nobody sings them. So, in response to a question about the BOTTOM 10 from a friend in Austin, we’re going to unveil the list of songs nobody has sung since we started keeping track in 2014. And, to make it more fun, we’re going to enter the first person to sing any of these songs at our shows in a Sing The Unsung challenge, with a few prizes (KU house party! KU t-shirts! Record store gift certificates!) to be awarded via a drawing from all the entries we’ll hold when the songs are all sung or at the end of the year, whichever comes first.
Here’s the list of 89 songs! That’s only about 7% of our total songlist, and remember that most of these are on the Spotify playlist linked from our Songlist page if you want to practice. We’ll have an update after every show so everybody can see what’s still eligible for an entry in the prize drawing. Sing it LOUD!
