Spoon : Hot Songs<\/p><\/div>\n

KU was thrilled to celebrate the impending release of Spoon’s new album Hot Thoughts with an ALL-SPOON karaoke party, on March 3rd at Drinks! We worked with Matador Records and Rough Trade to arrange the event, which include prizes of signed Hot Thoughts LPs and guest list passes to one of Spoon’s SXSW shows at “Eno’s” (the old Emo’s outside stage). Pics at this link<\/a>, they’re mostly blurry but that happens when you’re having such a great time. Thanks to everybody who sang all those incredible Spoon songs! Special thanks to Melanie, Gerard and Tim for helping put the event together, and of course Britt, Jim and everybody else who’ve made this band so consistently amazing.<\/p>\n
